How to download and Install mobile Marketmaker application on your mobile phone.
To start your BlackBerry or mobile trading today, simply follow the steps listed below:
- Find out if your BlackBerry or mobile phone model is supported by Marketmaker
- Make sure your BlackBerry/mobile is already set up on GPRS
- Install the Marketmaker software – please see below.
- Even if you are already using Marketmaker, you need to get additional login details, but you will only need to use them once – call us on 0207 152 0410 or email the Helpdesk.
To make sure that you download and install the Marketmaker software correctly, please follow the steps below:
Click on one of the links below to download the software:
- For Spread Betting: www.natweststockbrokers.com/mobileSB
- For CFD: www.natweststockbrokers.com/mobilecfd
Select the location nearest to you.
Click on the Marketmaker icon to start the download.
After a short time you will be prompted that you are downloading Marketmaker and asked to confirm that you want to download the application.
- Click on 'YES' to download Marketmaker.
- You may receive a warning that the application is from an untrusted source, if this occurs then just click on ‘YES’ again to confirm the download.
- You may also be prompted as to where you want to download the application to; this can be anywhere you like, but remember the folder you downloaded it to so you can find it again when you want to start the application.
- The application will then start to download; this will likely take several minutes depending on the network operator load and how good the signal is to the phone.
If the application fails to install due to the download timing out or any other reason, then repeat the steps in this stage to try again. Please also send an e-mail to the Helpdesk with details of what happened.
Once the application has finished downloading, you may be prompted as to whether you want to run it right away. You can do this if you wish.
Note: When installing, it is advised that you are not moving fast (e.g. in a car or train) and in a reasonably strong signal area in order to help prevent any possible installation problems.
When you run the application you will be prompted to enter your login details. You will require new login details to trade on mobile Marketmaker. Please e-mail Helpdesk or call us on 0207 152 0410 to request additional login details for your account.
